The Guidelines
The animation pipeline is a structured approach to bringing ideas to life, ensuring that each stage of development aligns with the project's vision and objectives.
Each step in the pipeline is designed to build upon the last, creating a seamless workflow that maximizes efficiency and minimizes the risk of misalignment. Every project starts with a conversation, not a quote form. We take time to understand your vision, your goals, and the audience you're trying to reach. From there, we work with you to define the story you need to tell: the angle, the tone, the style, and what success actually looks like when the work is live.
You'll leave this stage with a clear creative direction and the confidence that we understand your brief.
With the creative direction agreed, we craft a script built around clarity and engagement, not filler. Once you're happy with the words, we develop storyboards that map out every scene: timing, composition, camera movement, and key visual moments.
This is the most important alignment stage of the whole project. Getting this right means production runs smoothly and expensive changes are avoided downstream.
Before a single frame is animated, we establish the visual world your project lives in. Style frames, character designs, colour palettes, and typographic choices are all defined here. This gives you a clear, concrete preview of the finished aesthetic.
We refine these assets based on your feedback until the look and feel is exactly right. Getting design approved here prevents rework during the most time-intensive stage of production.
Animation without sound is only half a story. We bring in voice-over, music, and sound effects - either sourced, composed, or recorded - and synchronise with precision. Sound has a profound effect on how an audience receives and retains content; we treat it as seriously as the visuals.
With designs approved, production begins. Using industry-standard software, our animators build out each scene with frame-level precision. Motion graphics, character animation, 3D modelling, VFX, and motion capture, depending on what the project calls for.

We present a near-final cut for your review with a structured feedback process, not an open-ended email chain. We're direct about what's working and what isn't, and we expect the same in return. Revisions are handled efficiently and communicated clearly, so nothing gets lost in translation.
